CAMBRIDGE CITY, IN — Wayne County sheriff’s officials are investigating a house fire that killed three early Saturday, Jan. 24, in the 18000 block of Frank Myers Road in Cambridge City.
First responders found the residence fully involved in fire about 2 a.m., the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Once the fire was brought under control, the three victims were found in the residence. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State fire marshal, is actively investigating to determine the identities of the victims, their causes of death, and the origin and cause of the fire, the news release said. The Wayne County coroner’s office is involved in identifying the victims and determining their causes of death.
