Boston Dance Theater to perform at Smith Opera House

Boston Dance Theater (BDT), a contemporary dance repertory company, is set to perform at the Smith Opera House in Geneva on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Geneva Concerts announced that BDT will perform their show, Pinnacle Works, a collection of pieces representing contemporary dances from across the world.

The repertory’s choreographers include Itzik Galili representing the Netherlands and Israel, Marco Goecke representing Germany and Alessandro Sousa Pereira representing Brazil and Denmark.

Jessie Jeanne, BDT’s founder and co-artistic director, will give the audience a pre-concert talk at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is $35 for adults and seniors, $10 for college students with a college ID and free for Hobart and William Smith College students and for children 12-years-old and younger.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door of the Smith Opera House, 82 Seneca Street. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.genevaconcerts.org.
