Crash caused heavy traffic on I-71 near Polaris Parkway

Part of Interstate 71 South near Polaris Parkway was closed due to a crash earlier on Dec. 26, but all lanes have reopened.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the two left lanes were closed on I-71 South beyond Gemini Place To Polaris Parkway, due to a crash as of 3:57 p.m. Dec. 26, although all lanes were closed initially. According to OHGO, the crash has been cleared and traffic is moving through the previously affected area.

During the incident, camera footage from the OHGO website showed heavy traffic up to Big Walnut Road.
