The season came to a heartbreaking end for the Texas A&M Aggie football team in the first round of the CFP at Kyle Field against Miami. While it ended far earlier than they hoped, there were still plenty of meaningful positives to be proud of, with several players delivering career seasons that will be recognized below.
As a team, they finished in the top 25 nationally in total offense (444.5) and inside the top 20 in scoring offense (33.8). Defensively, they closed the year in the top 20 in total defense (307.4) and inside the top 40 in scoring defense (21.0).
All of these metrics surpassed their 2024 production and demonstrated that, with a similar schedule, the Aggies made major improvements. Next season will be a true testament to how effectively the culture has carried over to the younger generation as the SEC shifts to a nine‑conference‑game format and significant roster attrition hits the Aggie depth chart.
With that being said, there were numerous standout players throughout the season, with several earning national attention on their way to All‑American recognition. Below, we highlight the star players of 2025 and a few rising contributors to watch in the future with our MVP selections from the season.
