8. Mason Comets
Record: 6-1

5. Milford Eagles
Record: 7-1
Last week: 7
Analysis: The Eagles picked up the biggest win of the season in Southwest Ohio so far, beating Winton Woods, 59-48, on Dec. 22. They have a roster that can execute a run-and-gun style of play, and Kylie Perone is a force in the post who also has a soft touch around the rim.

4. Walnut Hills Eagles
Record: 5-2

Upcoming: vs. Princeton at Xavier University (Dec. 28), vs. Anderson (Jan. 5)
1. West Clermont Wolves
Record: 8-0
Last week: 2
Analysis: West Clermont has perhaps the most balanced roster in the city and there’s a consensus that this team is better than the 2022-2023 squad that went 24-1. For now, let’s circle the Wolves’ two games against Winton Woods and a weekend at the Classic in the Country as the biggest tests on the schedule.
Upcoming: vs. Fairfield (Dec. 30), at Turpin (Jan. 5)
