Watch Nick Sanders drill three-point bucket in Michigan State's win

There is nothing in college sports better than when a walk-on gets their chance to play in a game, and makes the most of the opportunity.

On Friday, Michigan State dominated Detroit Mercy, earning a 28-point victory. At the tail end of the convincing win, the Spartans were able to get their walk-ons in the game.

Now, while Nick Sanders is now on scholarship, he started his career as a walk-on and still only seldomly gets playing time. During his chance to play against the Titans, he made the most of his opportunity.

Sanders drilled a three-point bucket, and the crowd erupted as if Coen Carr threw down one of his patented slams. It was truly a moment to see.

Sanders had 11 points in his career coming into the game and had made one three point basket.
