The good news for those planning to cook their own meal is the estimated price of a meal for 10 is forecast to be down, for the third year in a row.

But if the thought of all that planning and cooking is overwhelming and you just don’t want to coordinate getting everyone out to a restaurant, then consider picking up a meal to heat and serve on Thanksgiving.
Of course, that requires ordering in advance from a restaurant or grocery store, and the homestyle offerings from Cracker Barrel are a perennial favorite.

What do Cracker Barrel’s Thanksgiving heat and serve meals include?
Cracker Barrel’s Heat and Serve Holiday Meals “offer a full comforting feast without the prep marathon.” The restaurant promises the meals are complete and ready in two hours” and can be customized when you order.
“Focus on what matters most, while still serving up the flavors everyone looks forward to all year,” Cracker Barrel said.
Meals should be served within 72 hours of being picked up.

What’s the deadline to order Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving meal pickup?
Cracker Barrel said it needs 24-hour notice between the date you place your order and your pickup time.
Pickup is between Nov. 22-30.

Yes. Cracker Barrel said it will be open for its regular hours on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, with a traditional meal available starting at 11 a.m.
The restaurant suggested using its online wait list for shorter wait time and using mobile pay to pay for your bill at your table.
