Starbucks releases holiday drinks and merchandise, including viral 'Bearista' bear cup

Starbucks is bringing back the holiday season with a bang as the coffee chain debuts the return of its festive menu, a new Hello Kitty collaboration and adorable (and viral) “Bearista” cup as part of its holiday-themed merchandise.

The coffee chain’s holiday lineup was released on Thursday, Nov. 6, featuring the usual seasonal beverages (including the highly-anticipated Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulée Latte), holiday-themed tumblers and cups, plus a limited-edition merchandise collaboration with Hello Kitty.

When does Starbucks holiday drinks come out?

The Starbucks holiday menu returned on Thursday, Nov. 6.

What holiday drinks are coming back?

This year’s lineup includes Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte and Iced Gingerbread Chai. The Chestnut Praline Latte and fan-favorite Eggnog Latte will return later on in the season, Starbucks said in a news release.

The Snowman Cookie, as well as the Cranberry Bliss Bar and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, will also make a comeback this season and some new favorites. The Polar Bear Cake Pop and Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread will make a debut in 2025.

The glass Bearista cold cup ($29.95), which comes with a straw and is shaped like a teddy bear with a green Starbucks stocking cap on its head, is made to hold your 20-ounce cold brew or other favorite drink.

The Bearista cup is part of Starbucks’ holiday merchandise line. Other Starbucks holiday-themed cups and tumblers range in price from $19.95 to $39.95. There’s a white tumbler decorated with gold ribbons ($21.95) and another tumbler decorated with a holiday puppy ($24.95).

Starbucks collaboration with Hello Kitty

Starbucks has introduced a limited-edition merchandise collaboration with Hello Kitty, which will also be available in on Thursday, Nov. 6.

The collection features a Hello Kitty plush dressed in the iconic Starbucks green apron, 16-ounce boxed ceramic mug, 26-ounce stainless steel Hello Kitty cold cup, 20-ounce stainless steel bottle, 24-ounce acrylic cold cup and 12-ounce stainless steel tumbler.

Is today Red Cup Day at Starbucks?

While Starbucks is releasing its holiday menu on Nov. 6, the coffee chain announced its holiday tradition, Red Cup Day, will return Thursday, Nov. 13.

On the day, customers receive a reusable red holiday cup when they purchase a handcrafted holiday beverage at participating stores, while supplies last.
