Friday, Oct. 31, was trick-or-treat time in Bedford.
People throughout the city had mainly treats, not tricks, for the kids who came knocking on their doors or at candy stations at various locations.
The area between St. John’s Episcopal Church on 14th Street and Bedford Junior High was crowded with trick-or-treaters.
In addition to tables with treats, some people were there to share. Paula Ochs set up a table in honor of her son, Jonny Nikirk.
“He was autistic and we lost him in 2023,” she said. “He loved coming here. We set this table up in honor of him.”
