Fortunately, fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes will not have to wait as long as they did to learn the kickoff time for their game against the Oregon Ducks. Iowa’s next contest, a trip to Los Angeles to take on the USC Trojans, has a kickoff time set.
The Iowa-USC game is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This contest will be the first conference game between the Hawkeyes and the Trojans since USC joined the Big Ten.
While kickoff time has been set, the TV channel has not. The networks are likely waiting until the results of this weekend before locking games into their respective channels. This game will be seen on either CBS or the Big Ten Network.
The USC Trojans and Iowa Hawkeyes have met 10 times, although just twice since 2000. In their last meeting, the Hawkeyes won 49-24 in the Holiday Bowl in 2019. Before that, USC took down Iowa in the 2003 Orange Bowl 38-17.
The series, while not played all that often, does have a 100-year history. The first game came in 1925: USC won 18-0.
