Dell’Osso Family Farm has been open to the public for almost three decades. The farm will celebrate its 29th year with opening day on Friday, Oct. 3.
The farm opens for the season starting at 12 p.m. Friday, at 501 S. Manthey Road in Lathrop. Last entry will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and every day. The farm is open Friday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 31.
“The Dell’Osso Family Farm October event has grown into one of the most popular Halloween season destinations in the nation, with approximately 250,000 people visiting the site each October,” according to the company’s website.
The 29th Annual Pumpkin Maze will open at 12 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Farm attractions start to close at 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, the farm’s website states.
“Make your way through our giant Corn Maze, getting lost is half the fun!” the website states.
The Dell’Osso Family Farm has more than 20 attractions; these include unlimited access to the corn mazes, haunted house, mini golf, the new thrill hill, and more, the website states.
These attractions are not included with general admission. The prices are below:
Tickets and new waiver requirement
Anyone visiting the Dell’Osso Family Farm will be required to sign a waiver to enter the farm, Dell’Osso Family Farm stated on a Facebook post.
“Waivers must be completed on the same day you plan to attend,” the Facebook post states.
The waiver can be found on social media by scanning the QR code or on waiver.smartwaiver.com.
Parents or guardians must fill a waiver for any guests under 18 years old attending the farm, the Facebook post states. While parents or guardians do not need to be present, the guest will need to show proof of waiver confirmation at the ticket booth.
General admission tickets start at $23.95 per person Monday through Thursday, $28.95 per person Friday, $32.95 per person Saturday and Sunday, and children under 2 years old enter for free. Tickets can be reserved online and paid at the farm with cash or credit, the website states. Tickets are not sold online, only reserved.
The annual pass is $85 per person, for anyone 2 years old and over, valid for the season from Oct. 3 through Oct. 31. For Lathrop residents, the annual pass is $80 per person, with proof of residency, the website states.
Parking is free at the farm.
Furry friends are also welcome at the farm, but with restrictions.
“The family dog is welcome at the farm, however we ask that you keep your pet on a leash at all times. It is required owners carry poop bags and clean up after their pets,” the Dell’Osso Family Farm website states. “Dogs are not allowed in the Haunted House or on any of the rides. Dogs may go into the corn maze if they are carried or as otherwise allowed on a case by case basis.”
The farm will be open on special hours from 12 to 4 p.m. on Halloween Day. Last entry will be at 3:30 p.m., and attractions will start to close at 4 p.m., the website states.
