While not a complete unknown as it’s his second year in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills will face quarterback Spencer Rattler on Sunday in Week 4 at Highmark Stadium.
Being a NFC team naturally keeps the New Orleans Saints (0-3) off of Buffalo’s radar more than others, but Rattler is young too.
A fifth-round pick by New Orleans in 2024, Rattler has made nine starts in his career and overall has put up 1,956 passing yards and completed 60.5 percent of his passes. That number is up to 67.2 this season and all of his numbers across the board have increased. Rattler has four touchdowns to just one interception in 2025 as well.
While some debate if it is a QB stat, the biggest takeaway when looking at Rattler’s numbers is his 0-9 overall record. He’s searching for his first win and that coming against the Bills (3-0) would be huge for Rattler.
Adding context was ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky, who broke down Rattler’s game earlier this week on “One Bills Live.”
“He’s very aggressive with the football,” Orlovsky said. “I don’t want to say reckless, but if he feels he can fit a ball.”
Orlovsky’s full breakdown can be found in the clip below:
