After a one-game absence, Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt is on track to return for the team’s Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos, head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Sept. 27.
Taylor-Britt injured his hamstring during practice on Sept. 17 but was a participant on Sept. 27, the Bengals’ last practice before traveling to Denver.
Tight end Noah Fant and defensive lineman Shemar Stewart will be inactive on Monday night, as neither player practiced on Sept. 27. Fant suffered a concussion in the second quarter of the Bengals’ Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Stewart is still progressing after leaving the Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a low ankle sprain.
Fant was a popular target for quarterback Jake Browning against the Vikings with five catches for 26 yards in limited action. The Bengals still have a deep tight end room with Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, Cam Grandy and Tanner Hudson.
The Bengals play Denver on Monday, Sept. 29 at 8:15 p.m. as part of a Monday Night Football doubleheader.
