Pedestrian killed on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach crash

A pedestrian died the night of Wednesday, Sept. 24 after being struck by a vehicle in West Palm Beach, city police said.

According to a police statement, the fatal crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m. on the 1200 block of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, west of North Tamarind Avenue.

Officers arriving on scene found the injured person and attempted life-saving measures. Paramedics pronounced the person dead at the scene.

Investigators did not release any identifying information about the person who died. The crash remains under investigation, a city police spokesperson said.
