Iowa football running back Jaziun Patterson was evaluated at halftime and is banged up in the Hawkeyes’ Week 4 contest at Rutgers.
Despite getting RB Kamari Moulton back in the lineup after missing two weeks with a shoulder injury, Patterson led Iowa’s rushing attack in the first half.

Jaziun Patterson injury update
According to the FOX broadcast, Patterson injured his right ankle and had it evaluated at halftime before receiving a heavy tape job on that area.
Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz told FOX that Patterson is expected to try to play in the second half, but he did not appear during Iowa’s first two drives.
Patterson tallied six carries for 37 yards in the first half.
