Understandably, the odds around the Cincinnati Bengals took a dramatic shift in the aftermath of the Joe Burrow injury.
That includes how oddsmakers and Las Vegas feel about the Bengals’ Week 3 road game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Most sportsbooks appear to slot the Bengals as three-point underdogs on the road against the Vikings in a game that might’ve otherwise featured them as road favorites.
After all, those Vikings are simply 1-1, the only win a three-point escape of a really rough-looking Chicago Bears team. Starting quarterback JJ McCarthy will miss Sunday’s game and is one of the multiple notable injuries for the Vikings.
The 2-0 Bengals will start Jake Browning on the road and, given what onlookers saw from him in 2023, still seem to have a pretty good shot at starting the year 3-0.
