The Florida State Seminoles have announced the 2025-26 schedule for the men’s basketball team.
The Seminoles will play a difficult schedule in the first year of the Luke Loucks era. In addition to playing ACC rivals Duke and North Carolina, they will also play the Texas A&M Aggies and Florida Gators in non-conference matchups. Seventeen of their 31 games will be played in the Donald L. Tucker Center.
They will open the season on Nov. 4 when they host Alcorn State with their first road game coming against the Florida Gators on Nov. 11. They will open ACC play on the road against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Dec. 30 or 31, and they will then return to Tallahassee to play the Duke Blue Devils in their first home ACC game of the season.
They will play two exhibition games before the start of the season, travelling to Birmingham to play the Alabama Crimson Tide on Oct. 16, who have former Seminole Taylor Bol Bowen on their roster. They will play Florida A&M at the Tucker Center on Oct. 26 in their final tune-up before the start of the season.
Loucks has essentially rebuilt FSU’s roster, bringing back just three players and adding 11 players from either the transfer portal or high school to make his first team.
