EA Sports has teased five rookie ratings for Madden 26.
A video shows New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston with five notable rookies in the 2025 NFL draft class and showing them their Madden 26 rating.
Travis Hunter Madden rating
The most notable rookie rating shown was Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter. Hunter won the Heisman Trophy after a one-of-a-kind season playing both sides of the ball and being brilliant on both sides including leading the Big 12 in receiving touchdowns (15) as well as earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
Hunter will be an 84 overall in Madden 26, the highest rated rookie, with attributes such as 96 jumping, 96 change of direction and 93 speed.
Cam Ward Madden rating
The No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft was Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward. The new Tennessee Titans QB had a fantastic season with the Hurricanes, finishing the season with a 10-3 record and being named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. Ward threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Although he had a great season, Ward is coming in at a 71 overall in Madden 26 with 91 throw power, 85 acceleration and 68 awareness.
Ward had a historic season in the Hurricane uniform. He transferred to Miami after two season at Washington State, He entered head coach Mario Cristobal’s offense and was bale to bring the best out of it. He set the single season passing yards record for Miami Hurricanes, surpassing Bernie Kosar’s record of 3,642 set in 1984.

The runner up to Hunter’s Heisman Trophy is Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty. Born in Jacksonville, Jeanty is coming off a historic season at Boise State tallying 374 carries, 2,601 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns. He comes into Madden 26 as a 83 overall, 90 speed, 91 agility and 80 strength.
Mykel Williams was drafted to the San Francisco 49ers out of Georgia. He put on display his talent in Athens, Georgia and his production earned him a rating of 78 in Madden 26. Three ratings that Williams will have in this year’s football game are 86 strength, 83 hit power and 77 awareness.
Cam Skattebo lit up the media with his performances toward the end of the college football season. His 16 carries for 170 rushing yards and three total touchdowns in the Big 12 Championship caught the medias attention. He toppled that performance with a three total touchdown day versus Texas in the college football playoff quarterfinal including 143 yards on the ground, 99 yards through the air and a 42 yard touchdown pass. Skattebo finished 5th in Heisman voting and now will be a 73 overall with 92 jumping, 86 jumping and 85 speed.
He also helped his wide receiver Xavier Restrepo break two school records with most receptions in school history and most receiving yards in a career at Miami. He passed the receptions record of 182 receptions, set by Mike Harley and 2,547 receiving yards, set by Santana Moss.
