A 19-year-old driver died after a one-car crash July 5 in Montebello village, the Ramapo police said.
Police identified the man as Brady Orlando Roldan-Lluguilema of Spring Valley.
The vehicle’s passenger was stable and being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the police.
At about 1 p.m. on July 5, the police went to the Kings Gate Road crash and found the driver had been thrown from the vehicle, the release said. Officers started CPR until emergency medical services arrived and took over care.
Driver and passenger were taken to a hospital. The driver later succumbed to injuries, according to the police.
The police said Tallman Fire Department, Suffern Fire Department, W.P. Fast Ambulance Corps, and Rockland Paramedic Services assisted on scene.
