The Greater Akron Chamber has announced the recipients of its 2025 30 For the Future Awards.
The program began in 2007 and honors professionals between ages 25 and 39 who demonstrate exceptional leadership and make impacts on the Akron region, according to a news release from the chamber.
An independent selection committee chose the 30 finalists from a pool of more than 125 leaders who were nominated by members of the Greater Akron Chamber, profit and nonprofit organizations in the Akron region and members of the community. Honorees were chosen based on criteria that included leadership, professional accomplishments and community service.
GAC is inviting community members to honor and celebrate the 2025 recipients from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 19 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Akron/Fairlawn. The event will include a networking reception, breakfast and an opportunity to learn more about and celebrate this year’s chosen leaders. See event details here.
