HGTV recently released its list of the “40 Most Charming Small-Town Downtowns in America,” with one less than 50 miles from Jacksonville, Florida.
In the ranking, which highlighted Fernandina Beach, Florida, the home improvement network took into account the history, culture, attractions and beauty of the charming small-town downtowns.
Fernandina Beach sits on the most northeast corner of Florida, on Amelia Island. The small city, just under 12 square miles, is part of Nassau County.
