The PGA Tour heads to the Motor City today for the Rocket Classic, one of golf’s newest tournaments.
The field in Detroit, which has hosted this event since 2019, features five of the top-20 players in the World Golf Rankings. At the top of that list is No. 5 Collin Morikawa, who has been runner-up twice this season but hasn’t won on the PGA Tour since 2023. The other high-ranking players are Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, Ben Griffin and Patrick Cantlay.
Cam Davis will look to add to his Rocket Classic trophy collection. The Australian has two PGA Tour victories: the 2020 and 2024 events here at Detroit Golf Club.
