If you’re a heavy metal fan already counting the days until the return of Welcome to Rockville at Daytona International Speedway, the math just became a little bit more precise.
On Tuesday, June 24, Los Angeles-based promoter Danny Wimmer Presents announced the dates for the 2026 edition of Welcome to Rockville, the four-day rock marathon that set records again this past May in Daytona Beach.
In 2026, the festival will return May 7-10 to the Speedway’s massive infield. Expect the event to match or exceed the scope of the 2025 edition, which showcased more than 150 bands on five outdoor stages. That lineup included main stage headliners Shinedown, Green Day, Linkin Park and Korn.
Although the festival faced a few last-minute challenges due to the late cancellations of two highly anticipated acts, Alice in Chains and 3 Doors Down, due to health issues, it didn’t stop the event from logging a new attendance record.
Welcome to Rockville 2025 registered its highest attendance yet, with a record-breaking 230,000 fans visiting Daytona International Speedway during the event, according to organizers.
That number surpassed the 2024 mark of more than 200,000 attendees, a total that eclipsed a previous record of 170,000, set in 2023 in Daytona Beach. The 2026 edition will mark Rockville’s sixth year in Daytona Beach, following more than a decade in Jacksonville.

That blockbuster success was celebrated in this week’s announcement of the 2026 dates as well as information on upcoming pre-sale tickets to become available this week. It offered no word yet on any acts confirmed for the lineup.
“2025 broke every record in the history of Welcome To Rockville,” Danny Wimmer Presents exclaimed in an email blast. “The energy is still echoing through Daytona, and we know you’re not done yet.
“We’re headed back to Daytona International Speedway, May 7–10, 2026, and your first shot at passes to North America’s Largest Rock Festival drops THIS WEEK with the Early Bird Presale.”
The presale event offers a jump on tickets for previous festival attendees before passes are offered to the general public, the post stated. Ticket packages will be available starting at only $1 down, including camping and hotel packages.
“Keep an eye on your inbox,” the post stated, “your presale code is on the way.”
