The Daytona Beach Police Department has arrested a suspect in the shooting outside a sports bar that sent three victims to the hospital Friday night.

When police arrived at the scene at 10:48 p.m., they saw three people suffering from gunshot wounds. According to a news release issued by the Daytona Beach Police Department, on Saturday, June 21, around noon, all three victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to recover.

Bar altercation turned violent

After interviewing witnesses, police determined that an unidentified white man had been at the bar drinking alcoholic beverages. The patron became belligerent, and staff escorted him outside.

According to reports, the man returned a few minutes later, had a brief verbal exchange with someone, retrieved a firearm from his waistband, and fired multiple rounds toward the front door of the bar. He then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Police were able to identify the suspect as Kaznakoff and apprehended him near his home. He turned himself over to authorities without incident.

The man, according to court records, was charged with attempted felony murder, aggravated assault with intent to commit felony, wearing a mask while committing a robbery offense, and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

He is currently in the Volusia County Branch Jail awaiting a first-appearance hearing.
