Deputies arrived and discovered a deceased man, girl and boy, Wilson said. Emergency medical providers confirmed they were dead at the scene.

No more details were being released because of the sensitive nature of the incident and the ongoing investigation, Wilson said. There was no ongoing threat to the community stemming from the incident.

Scurry County is approximately 100 miles north of San Angelo.

The Sheriff’s Office extended condolences to those impacted, the sheriff said.
