Jacksonville Jaguars updated position-by-position depth chart on offense after minicamp

(This story was updated to correct a misspelling/typo.)

With offseason programs now behind us, the Jacksonville Jaguars will break for roughly the next five weeks, until the team reconvenes for training camp.

Ultimately, it is during training camp and in the preseason, when the intensity is turned up and the pads come on, that we will begin to get a much better idea of where positional battles stand and what the full 53-man roster could look like.

Admittedly, that can be difficult information to glean during OTAs and minicamp, when the pads aren’t on and the focus is on installs.

But nonetheless, there are still players who stand out during this time of the year, and we also get glimpses into potential rotations, along with seeing who is playing with the first, second, and third team units.

So, given what we know at this time, what might the Jaguars’ depth chart on the offensive side of the football look like?

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterbacks

Wolford’s experience will give him an advantage in the early going. But when it comes to the third quarterback spot on a depth chart, with the starter and backup roles filled, teams are typically looking for more developmental talent, which is why Henigan is listed ahead of Wolford.

Jacksonville Jaguars running backs

In terms of the top three spots at this position, there still seems to be a lot that has to be determined. While I expect Bigsby, Etienne, and Tuten to all see snaps this season, it remains to be seen at this time which player will end up with the most opportunities. When it comes to Allen, he is locked into that fourth spot, but the question for him becomes, do the Jaguars roster that many running backs on the 53-man?

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receivers

When it comes to where the UDFAs stand, there’s some guesswork involved. We know who the top four spots on the depth chart belong to, and Cephus is someone who both stood out and was mentioned by Liam Coen over the last few weeks. I gave Irwin the sixth spot because of his experience in the NFL over the others, while Camper and Pancol were the top UDFAs because we heard their names brought up the most during offseason programs compared to the others.

Jacksonville Jaguars tight ends

Strange is at the top of this depth chart, but how the next three spots shake out remains to be seen. Mundt, Long, and Morris all have been block first tight ends in their careers, so whoever can showcase the most consistency in that regard, while also adding some upside in the passing game, will have the upper hand.

Jacksonville Jaguars’ offensive linemen

Predicting this depth chart feels like an impossible task. With a number of new faces and a lot more versatility, the Jaguars have really leaned into the competition element up front this offseason. We don’t know what offensive line combinations they’ve utilized, but there has reportedly been a lot of mixing and matching as Coen searches for his best starting configuration. It feels like at this position group, when it comes to who is starting, just about anything is on the table.
