BINGHAMTON — It all comes down to Saturday, June 14, for Hamilton softball and Oriskany baseball as their seasons wrap up with appearances in NYSPHSAA championship games in Binghamton.
Hamilton takes the field at 11 a.m. at the Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Field complex next to the Broome Community College campus.
Oriskany plays at 7 p.m. at Mirabito Stadium, home of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the New York Mets.

Times Telegram and Observer-Dispatch sportswriter Jon Rathbun will be at today’s games and tweeting live updates.
Both games pit Section III’s champions against the champions of Section II to the east, Argyle softball and North Warren baseball.
For both Hamilton and Oriskany, this is a third championship game appearance, and a win would be a first. Oriskany was beaten 4-0 by Arkport/Canaseraga last year, and lost to Fort Ann in 1993. Hamilton was beaten by Chapel Field Christian in 2004, and lost to Deposit 10 years ago in 2015.
Overnight rain let up early Saturday morning, but there are occasional showers in the forecast through the day, most likely around noon with the likelihood dropping off after that.
