The Clay Wade Bailey Bridge connecting Downtown Cincinnati to Covington will close to vehicle traffic for 10 days beginning Friday, June 13.
The closure is part of a repair project for the bridge that began in April 2024, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
During the closure, three modular joints will be installed on the bridge. The cabinet said pedestrians will still be able to cross the river on the bridge during the closure.
The bridge is expected to reopen on the morning of June 23. The full $2.8 million repair project is slated for completion by mid-July, officials said.
