The 2025 NBA Draft is fast approaching and Illinois basketball could pull off a rare double.
The Fighting Illini and coach Brad Underwood are expected to have two players drafted. If both are picked in the first round, it will be the third time two Illini have done so — joining Deron Williams and Luther Head in 2005, and Nick Anderson and Kenny Battle in 1989.

International guards Kasparas Jakucionis and Will Riley could be next. With many NBA mock drafts updated for June, here is an updated look at which teams could select the Illini duo.
Kasparas Jakucionis
The 6-foot-5 Lithuanian guard is ranked between No. 6 and 17 in the various mock drafts as of late May. He averaged 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists in his only season in Champaign. He shot 44 percent overall and 31.8 on 3-pointers.
Will Riley
The 6-foot-8 Canadian guard is ranked as high as No. 15 in various mock drafts as of late May. He averaged 12.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in one season with the Illini. He shot 43.2 percent overall and 32.6 percent from 3-point range.
