Douglas was removed from his post as the general manager of the Jets in the midst of New York’s 2024 season. By the time Douglas was fired, head coach Robert Saleh had already been let go.

Douglas served as the Eagles’ vice president of player personnel from 2016 until his stop in New York.

Douglas’ new role is described as a “senior” position in the Eagles’ front office.

In between his positions with the Jets and now Eagles once again, Douglas worked as a 2025 NFL draft analyst with FOX Sports. In that role, he praised New York’s selection of offensive lineman Armand Membou at No. 7 overall.

Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
