The Texas Tech softball team looks to secure its first Super Regional appearance in history when the Red Raider take on Mississippi State in the championship game of the Lubbock Regional today at Rocky Johnson Field.
The top-seeded Red Raiders took down the second-seeded Bulldogs 10-1 on Saturday to punch their ticket to the championship games. Mississippi State bounced back later to top Washington 11-10 in an elimination game to stay alive.
Texas Tech needs just one more win to secure the regional title while Mississippi State needs to beat the Red Raiders twice.
