FSU made elite DL feel like a priority on recent visit

Florida State hosted four-star defensive lineman Nolan Wilson last November for their game against Florida. The very next day, the Seminoles made an offer to Wilson, and he was back on campus earlier this month for their program’s Junior Day festivities.

This visit was a little different from the previous one. Spearheaded by head coach Mike Norvell, Wilson left his trip to Tallahassee feeling like the Seminoles were viewing him as a priority.

“Coach Novell definitely showed me how much he valued me and that I definitely have a place there if I want to be there,” Wilson said via Noles247.

Wilson has a busy schedule over the next few months. He’s got official visits to Texas A&M and Alabama in May. Auburn, Ole Miss, and USC will host Wilson in June. However, the Picayune, Mississippi product plans to squeeze in another trip to FSU at some point.

“I would definitely consider taking an official there,” said Wilson. “I’m just going to wait until I finish up with all my spring visit to finalize official visits.”

Wilson is listed as the No. 55 overall player in the country and the No. 5 defensive lineman according to 247Sports composite rankings. They also have the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder as the No. 3 prospect in the state of Mississippi.
