EU regulators clear with conditions Paramount's $110 billion bid for Warner Bros

BRUSSELS, July 22 (Reuters) – EU antitrust regulators approved on Wednesday Paramount Skydance Corp’s $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery on condition Paramount ditch its film distribution joint venture with Universal Pictures.

Paramount will also not enter into any film distribution deal with Universal in Europe for 10 years and will not transfer the distribution of Warner’s films in theatres to its own distributor, the European Commission said.
