OSHKOSH ― It’s about to get young and wild and free.
Next year’s XRoads41 festival promises to be the biggest one yet, having added ten-time Grammy-nominated rapper Wiz Khalifa to an already star-studded show including country superstars Jason Aldean and Lainey Wilson.
Festival directors Oshkosh Festivals LLC confirmed Khalifa’s addition as part of a lineup reveal two months after the Northwestern broke the news that Aldean and Lainey were set to headline the 2026 show at Oshkosh Festivals Park.
“This will be the strongest lineup XRoads41 has had yet,” wrote XRoads41 Marketing Director Mindy Klein in a press statement.
“It’s already stacked with artists that sell our arenas and dominate the charts, and we’ve got two more major artist announcements still coming! The downbill is stacked with some of the most talented and talked about up and comers in the industry.”
Who is Wiz Khalifa?
Known best for his hit singles “See You Again,” “We Dem Boyz,” “Black and Yellow” and “Young, Wild and Free,” Wiz Khalifa has sold over five million albums, including “Rolling Papers” and “Blacc Hollywood”, which went Platinum and Gold respectively.
But the festival’s true showstoppers will be Wilson and Aldean, who has a double-platinum certified album in “Night Train” and four others that have also gone platinum.
Aldean, 48, received five Grammy Award nominations while producing 30 no.1 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts including Amarillo Sky, She’s Country, You Make It Easy and Whiskey Drink.
The 33-year-old Wilson, who is engaged to former NFL quarterback Duck Hodges, won a Grammy Award for the Best Country Album with Bell Bottom Country and has nine Country Music Association awards along with 16 Academy of Country Music Awards.
She was also the most played country female artist in 2024.
Who are the other acts set to appear at XRoads41?
They are set to headline a show that will also feature rock band Treaty Oak Revival along with country acts Jackson Dean, Wyatt Flores, Braxton Keith, Tracy Byrd, Josh Ross, David Lee Murphy, Preston Cooper, Lauren Watkins and Lanie Gardner.
They’ll look to ride on the success of this year’s three-day festival, which attracted 41,5000 people – up from the 2024 attendance of 28,500 at the inaugural show.
That 2025 lineup featured country artists Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum and Jessie Murph alongside Grammy Award-winning rapper Nelly and multi–Grammy Award-nominated artist Flo Rida.
