Jess Fernau of Muskego was chosen as the state player of the year by the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association this season.
The senior forward helped lead the Warriors to the WIAA Division 1 state championship, their fourth state title in the last four seasons.
Fernau, who was named the Gatorade Wisconsin state player of the year, is one of four Muskego players chosen to the WSCA all-state first team this season.
