Final: West De Pere 35, Homestead 34

The Highlanders go back up on a touchdown on fourth-and-goal from West De Pere’s 1 but a blocked extra point leaves the lead at six with 4:32 remaining. On the ensuing drive West De Pere converted on fourth-and-seven from its own 27 with 3:43 to keep its hopes alive. The Phantoms then just kept working the ball down the field before scoring on fourth-and-goal from the one with 19.7 seconds left.

Final/OT: Grafton 34, CMH 31

Max Glab’s 2-yard touchdown catch right in front of the front pylon sends Grafton to the Division 3 state title game. Catholic Memorial took the football in overtime, kicked a field goal and needed one stop from its defense that didn’t come. What a game.

Final: Arrowhead 19, Waunakee 17

After missing an extra point earlier in the quarter, the Warhawks won it on a late 37-yard field go to earn a spot in the D1 title game.

Final: Mayville 27, Lake Country Lutheran 15

Mayville goes on top by five points on a 19-yard run on a fourth-and-eight play with 9:36 remaining. The Cardinals then put the game away thanks to a 39-yard run that put them in a first-and-goal situation at the Lightning 1. Mayville then scored on the next play for a 12-point lead with 1:20 remaining.

End 4Q: Grafton 28, CMH 28

OVERTIME IN OCONOMOWOC!Grafton uses a 21-0 run in the final quarter of regulation to tie the game, including two Jack Nelson touchdown runs, one with 34 seconds left in the fourth to tie the ballgame. A pair of 21-0 quarters for each team and we’ll head to overtime to decide who plays Reedsburg next week for the D3 state title.

Final: Bay Port 38, Muskego 35

What a way to decide who goes to state. Bay Port struck first in the quarter on a 3-yard run with 10:12 remaining to go up by three. But Muskego struck back on a 75-yard touchdown run two plays into the ensuing drive to go back up by four with 9:51 left. Bay Port answered right back with a 57-yard scoring run to retake a three-point lead with 8:12 left. Muskego wouldn’t be denied though, going back up by four on a 19-yard touchdown pass with 5:24 left. The Pirates had the last laugh when they scored on a 32-yard touchdown pass with 48 seconds to go and a 38-35 lead. Bay Port then stopped Muskego on 43-and-three from the Warriors 43-yard line with 13 seconds left.

End 3Q: Arrowhead 10, Waunakee 10

The Warhawks draw even on a 7-yard touchdown run with 7:08 left for the only score in the period.

End 3Q: Homestead 28, West De Pere 28

The Highlanders go up by 18 after scoring on a touchdown on a third-and-goal run from the 4-yard line and adding a 2-point conversion with 5:53 to go. West De Pere methodically worked the ball down the field on the ensuing drive and scored on a 12-yard pass to get back within seven with 4:32 left in the third. After stopping the Highlanders, the Phantoms marched right back down the field and evened things up on a 12-yard touchdown run with 1:34 left in the quarter.

End 3Q: CMH 28, Grafton 7

Catholic Memorial explodes out of the half with a four-touchdown quarter, sparked by three turnovers and some big plays from Zy’aire Smith and Devon Williams Jr., who scored twice in the quarter. What a massive turnaround for the Crusaders, who sit just one quarter from Madison.

End 3Q: Muskego 21, Bay Port 17

After an explosive second quarter, neither team was able to put points on the board.

End 3Q: Lake Country Lutheran 15, Mayville 14

The Lightning took its first lead of the game on a 46-yard touchdown pass and 2-point conversion with 9:35 left in the third.

Halftime: Muskego 21, Bay Port 17

A touchdown run by Muskego with 9:22 before the break tied the game up. Bay Port kicked a 25-yard field goal with 1:34 to go to take a three-point lead. But the Warriors returned the ensuing kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown and a four-point lead.

Halftime: Waunakee 10, Arrowhead 3

Waunakee took advantage of a short field to tie the game on a 30-yard field goal with 4:50 left in the half. Waunakee then went up by seven on 1-yard touchdown plunge later in the quarter.

Halftime: Mayville 14, Lake Country Lutheran 7

The Cradinals extended their lead to 14 points on a 9-yard quarterback keeper on an option play. The Lightning finally got on the scoreboard on a 13-yard pass with 8.1 seconds left.

Halftime: Homestead 20, West De Pere 14

West De Pere was able to draw even on a 7-yard pass for a touchdown 48 seconds into the second quarter. Homestead retook the lead on a 2-yard run on a fourth-and-one play with 2:16 before halftime. Mayville tied it back up on a 16-yard pass play on a second-and-goal play with 1:03 left. But that was enough time for Homestead to march down the field and retake the lead on a 16-yard pass just before the break. The 2-point conversion fell short, though.

Halftime: Grafton 7, CMH 0

It’s the Black Hawks with a one-score lead at the break. The defenses have made life miserable for the opposing offenses. Grafton forced a Dalton Steinke fumble around midfield late in the second quarter, but the CMH defense held to keep it a one-score game at the break. Points are at a premium in this one.

End 1Q: Arrowhead 3, Waunakee 0

After forcing Waunakee to punt from deep in its own territory, Arrowhead took advantage with a 40-yard field goal with 4:54 left in the period.

End 1Q: Homestead 7, West De Pere 0

The Highlanders used a play-action pass to score from 21 yards out and take the lead near the end of the quarter.

End 1Q: Grafton 7, Catholic Memorial 0

Grafton had a chance to put points on the board, but a missed field goal gave CMH the ball on its own 20. Three plays later, the Black Hawks defense was celebrating in the South endzone at Rux Stadium with 2:42 to go in the opening quarter. That’s what the score is heading to the second quarter.

End 1Q: Bay Port 14, Muskego 7

Bay Port dented the scoreboard first on a 1-yard plunge with 5:55 left in the quarter. The Warriors, though, struck right back on a 71-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage on the ensuing drive. The Pirates retook the lead on a 41-yard touchdown pass with 25 seconds left.

End 1Q: Lake Country Lutheran 0, Mayville 0

Neither team was able to score but Mayville drove the ball to the Lightning’s 15 as time expired in the quarter.
