The 2026 IIHF World Championship rosters are beginning to roll out, and a former Wisconsin Badger is making an appearance.
Team Canada revealed their 23-player roster, one that features Badgers alumnus Dylan Holloway.
Holloway, 24, was the No. 14 overall pick by the Edmonton Oilers back in 2020. Currently, he plays for the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues are coming off a rough season, but Holloway tallied 51 points in 59 games played. His numbers were higher in his first season at St. Louis, though it’s worth noting he played an extra 18 games.
The former top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award played two seasons with the Badgers.
He was fourth on the team with 84 shots as a freshman and was later named First-Team All-Big Ten during the 2020-21 season.
Now, Holloway is set to compete alongside 22 of Canada’s finest at the World Championship.
