Twenty-four legendary players began “Survivor 50” looking to add onto their legacies or rewrite their stories as they returned to be part of one of TV’s greatest shows.

The landmark season of the long-running CBS franchise, which the show has celebrated for over a year, concludes with a three-hour finale on Wednesday, May 20, that will include the cast reuniting in Los Angeles for the final episode.

And finally after a season of iconic returns, celebrity involvement, controversial twists, tearful goodbyes and an epic coin flip, the winner of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” will be revealed. The winner will earn the title of Sole Survivor and win the $2 million case prize that comes along with it.

The winnings were increased from the usual $1 million during the Mr. Beast twist this season.

Here’s what to know about the “Survivor” season 50 finale, including start time, where to watch, who’s left, winner odds, and more.

When is the season finale of Survivor 50

The season finale of “Survivor 50” is Wednesday, May 20.

The three-hour episode will begin with the final five before two eliminations leaves the final three.

The outcomes of the remaining in-game fan votes will also be revealed earlier in the game, including whether there will be a final four fire making. From there, the final three will plead their case to the 11-person jury on why they should be the Sole Survivor.

The winner will be revealed in Los Angeles during the finale.

Where to watch Survivor 50 finale tonight

Milwaukee-area “Survivor” fans can also watch the “Survivor 50” finale with hundreds of fellow “Survivor” fans and a “Survivor” legend herself, Andrea Boehlke.

Boehlke, a Wisconsinite who has played “Survivor” three times, is hosting a free finale watch party in Milwaukee’s Deer District.

Due to the high interest of the event, the finale will be shown in two locations, at Drink Wisconsinbly, 320 W. Highland Ave., and Tom’s Watch Bar, 1134 N. Vel R Phillips Ave., Boehlke announced last week. Once the crowd hits capacity at Drink Wisconsinbly, people will be directed to Tom’s Watch Bar.

No tickets are required.

Boehlke has hosted “Survivor” watch parties in Milwaukee for the last several years after returning to her home state from New York.

This is the second major event Boehlke is hosting for season 50. She hosted a watch party-concert with three past Survivors, including season 50’s Benjamin “Coach” Wade, season 46 finalist Ben Katzman and icon Jerri Manthey.

Boehlke, a Random Lake native who now makes Milwaukee her home, is the last Wisconsinite to appear on “Survivor.” She appeared in seasons 22, 26 and 34. During season 1, Wisconsin had multiple castaways of the 16 cast, including legendary player Sue Hawk.

Here are the eliminated castaways on season 50 (the first 10 were pre-jury members and the next nine are jury members):

Is the Survivor finale live?

“Survivor 50” was filmed last summer in Fiji. But for the first time since season 39, a live reunion in Los Angeles will be held for the finale. The winner will be announced during the finale.

Survivor fan favorite vote

The jury will vote for the winner of “Survivor 50.” But fans can vote for their fan favorite.

“Survivor” turned it over to the fans this season as they had the opportunity to vote on various elements of the game last year before filming. And it ends with one final vote. Fans had the opportunity to vote online on their favorite to receive the $100,000 Sia Fan Favorite prize.

The fan vote was revealed during the penultimate episode on Wednesday, May 13, with voting open through 2 p.m. May 20.

Host Jeff Probst revealed that Australian singer/songer Sia has awarded over a million dollars to the players who moved her most over the last 20 years. And now, Sia is turning the power over to the fans in season 50.

My prediction is Cirie Fields will win followed by Christian Hubicki and Rick Devens with Genevieve Mushaluk, Ozzy Lutsh and Colby Donaldson also in the mix.

Who won Survivor 50?

The winner of “Survivor 50” will be announced during the season finale on Wednesday, May 20. Entering the finale, five castaways remain with one person set to become the Sole Survivor for the first time to cap the historic season 50.

The winner will join this exclusive club:

Who is going to win Survivor? Survivor winner prediction

In her fourth time playing Survivor, Aubry Bracco will win “Survivor 50” and the $2 million prize pot.

Bracco was an underdog early in the game and at the bottom of her tribe but has elevated her gameplay and her presence in edit has shown that.

Late in the post-merge she’s been prominently featured and taking control as she turned the tables on Ozzy Lutsh in his blindside. Then in the last episode following the elimination of Rick Devens and Tiffany Ervin’s immunity challenge win, Bracco knew she had to turn her focus on the next biggest social and strategic threat: Cirie Fields. She couldn’t do it on her own but she successfully orchestrated the exit of Fields, who no one wanted to sit next to at a final tribal council.

Her game might not have been flashy with immunity wins but she learned from her mistakes from her past seasons, which the edit has made sure to focus in on in recent episodes. Recent episodes have been about her end game and how she will win the money.

She’ll avenge her runner-up finish in “Survivor: Kaôh Rōng” in 2016 with a resounding win. She’s also the last “old-school” player left in the game and the jury is filled with many “old-school” players. She’ll effectively communicate why she should be the Sole Survivor much better than who I see sitting next to her in Jonathan Young and Joe Hunter. And the jury will respect her game and award her with the $2 million win.

Who is predicted to win Survivor? Kalshi Survivor 50 episode 13

Aubry Bracco has a 98% chance to win “Survivior 50,” according to the Kalshi predictor market site as of 2:30 p.m. May 20. Her winner chances never dropped below 61.5% since betting began on the site for season 50 on the Kalshi market earlier this year.

Joe Hunter and Jonathan Young, the expected finalists, both come in at 2%.

Who won Survivor season 49?

The season 50 winner will follow in the footsteps of fellow season 50 contestant Savannah Louie, who won season 49.

Louie was invited back to play on the milestone season just a couple weeks after filming wrapped up on her season 49 win in 2025.

Unfortunately for Louie, a TV host from Atlanta, she couldn’t replicate her success on season 50 and was voted out on Day 6 in her second go-around.

Best seasons of Survivor

Was “Survivor 50” one of the best? It was certainly legendary with a record 24 returning players featuring icons of the game and fan favorites.

Whether it will rank as one of the best will be up for debate.

Here’s a look at all the seasons in order from season 1 in 2000 to season 50:

Is Survivor 50 the last season?

No, the landmark “Survivor 50” season is not the last season of the franchise. In fact, season 51, which will feature an all-newcomer cast, has already wrapped up filming. It filmed this spring in Fiji and will air in the fall. Expect a sneak peek of the season at the conclusion of the May 20 season 50 finale.

And the season 52 cast will soon depart to begin filming in Fiji. Season 52 will air in spring 2027.
