One by one, they went down in 2025.
The injuries to the Green Bay Packers have hit the offense, defense and special teams. Some have been short-term injuries while others have been long-term.

It’s been ACLs, Achilles, hamstrings, ankles, knees, shoulders, head and more.
And now, as the Packers begin the playoffs this weekend with a wild-card game against the Chicago Bears, they’ll do so with 15 players on injured reserve.
They’ve played without many of these players for some time already but it’s worth revisiting how many season-ending injuries this team has encountered of late.
Out for the year includes a superstar like Micah Parsons, an emerging star like Tucker Kraft, veterans on the lines like Elgton Jenkins and Devonte Wyatt, and several more role players. Then, there’s running back MarShawn Lloyd, who never even saw the field in 2025. And, of course, many more players not on the current IR have missed multiple games with injuries, like Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Lukas Van Ness, Zach Tom, Brandon McManus, Jordan Love and more.
The back half of the season has been especially devastating for the Packers. Since Week 9, they’ve lost at least one player to injured reserve in seven of the final 10 games, including the last four.
Green Bay’s Week 17 game was costly from a numbers standpoint. Four players were lost to season-ending injuries in the home finale against the Baltimore Ravens.
Here’s the full list of players on injured reserve ahead of the postseason:
Bo Melton
The Packers tried to avoid injuries during their Week 18 game on Jan. 4 by resting many players. But they had to play the game and the injuries continued.
Do-it-all player Bo Melton sustained a knee injury in second quarter against the Minnesota Vikings while making a tackle on punt coverage. He didn’t return and, three days later, he was put on injured reserve.
He’ll miss the playoffs.
Donovan Jennings
A throat injury suffered during a practice leading up to the team’s Week 18 game sent the 26-year-old offensive lineman to injured reserve. He was put on IR on Jan. 3.
Savion Williams
A foot injury likely has ended Savion Williams’ rookie season.
The wide receiver and return man has battled through the injury nearly all season and it finally led to him missing several games. He was out in Weeks 13-15 and then again in Week 17 before he was put on IR ahead of the season finale.
He also had a concussion during training camp that led to him wearing a Guardian Cap this season.
Kamal Hadden
The young backup cornerback had a gruesome ankle injury in the third quarter against the Ravens in Week 17. He had to be carted off the field.
Players were praying on the sideline, realizing the seriousness of his injury.
He was ruled out for the season and put on injured reserve Dec. 30.
Nate Hobbs
Hobbs’ season began injured and it ended the same way.
The Packers signed the cornerback as a free agent in the offseason. But it was an injury-filled and rough year with the Packers.
Hobbs missed most of training camp and the team’s Week 1 game after suffering a torn meniscus that required surgery. He was also out in Weeks 10-13 with a sprained MCL on his other knee.
The final blow came in Week 17 when Hobbs injured his knee after he collided with Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers in the second quarter. He didn’t return and was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 31.
Jordon Riley
Jordon Riley’s time with the Packers in 2025 ended before it could even began. The defensive tackle was signed off the New York Giants’ practice squad in early December to provide depth following the Wyatt injury.
But Riley would go down with his own season-ending Achilles injury in the second quarter in Week 17. He was carted off the field and his season is over. A long recovery awaits him.
Zayne Anderson
Zayne Anderson, a reliable special-teams player for the Packers the last three years, injured his ankle during the opening kickoff in Week 17 on Dec. 27.
He didn’t return and was put on injured reserve Dec. 31.

John FitzPatrick
An Achilles tear in the fourth quarter against the Bears in Week 16 ended his season.
The backup tight end was elevated from the practice squad in early November after Kraft’s injury.
Kristian Welch
The veteran backup linebacker and special teams player had an ankle injury in Week 16 against the Bears. He was put on injured reserve Dec. 26.
Micah Parsons
If there was any player the Packers couldn’t lose, particularly on defense, it was Parsons. But his whirlwind first season with the Packers ended in the third quarter in a Week 15 game at Denver when he tore his ACL.
It was a devastating blow for Parsons, a player who arrived to Green Bay just before the season began after a stunning trade with the Dallas Cowboys.
Before his injury, the multi-time All-Pro edge rusher became the first player in NFL history to record at least 12 sacks in each of the first five seasons of a career. He was the Packers’ lone Pro Bowl representative.
Parsons has since had surgery and has begun his rehab. He is eyeing a return at the start of the 2026 season.
Devonte Wyatt
The Packers’ interior defensive line took a hit when they parted with Kenny Clark to acquire Parsons.
It became even thinner when Wyatt was lost for the year with a fractured ankle late in the Packers’ game against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving in Week 13.
Wyatt also had missed two games earlier in the year with a knee injury.
Elgton Jenkins
The most senior member on the offensive line and a two-time Pro Bowler suffered a broken ankle in the second quarter of the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles on “Monday Night Football” in Week 10 on Nov. 10.
Jenkins was carted to the locker room and was placed on season-ending injured reserve the next day.
It’s the second major injury for the 30-year-old Jenkins in his career. He had a torn ACL in 2021.
Tucker Kraft
Tucker Kraft was quickly becoming an unstoppable force in the open field in 2025. The Packers’ tight end was well on his way to a Pro Bowl and potentially All-Pro season.
But a torn ACL ended his season in Week 9 when he went down Nov. 2 at Lambeau Field after offensive lineman Sean Rhyan’s right foot hit the side of Kraft’s knee while they were both blocking on a play.
To that point, Kraft had been leading all NFL tight ends in yards per catch and yards after the catch. He also became a trusted target for Love while wide receivers Watson and Reed were out with injuries early in the season.
Travis Glover
Travis Glover has spent his entire second season on injured reserve.
The former sixth-round pick was placed on injured reserve Aug. 6 after suffering a tear to his latissimus dorsi muscle.
MarShawn Lloyd
It’s been a lost two years for Lloyd.
The Packers’ 2024 third-round pick played in just one game in 2024 due to multiple injuries. And it’s been more of the same in 2025.
He first pulled his hamstring during his one and only preseason game in August and has been out since. And when trying to return in recent weeks, he reinjured his hamstring.
John Williams (PUP List)
The Packers’ rookie offensive lineman hasn’t played in 2025 due to a back injury. The seventh-round pick has been on the physically unable to perform list all year.
