Where Wisconsin's class of 2027 ranks after Jack Sorgi's commitment

Wisconsin football made yet another splash on the class of 2027 recruiting trail on Friday, landing a commitment from four-star quarterback Jack Sorgi.

Jack Sorgi is, of course, the son of former Badgers starter Jim Sorgi (2000-2003). He is the program’s ninth commitment of the 2027 cycle and the first from outside the Badger state. 247Sports specifically ranks the signal-caller as the No. 330 player in the class, the No. 23 quarterback and the No. 7 recruit from Indiana.

Wisconsin is off to an impressive start on the class of 2027 recruiting trail. Those eight in-state recruits, three of whom are blue-chip prospects, establish a strong foundation before official visits begin in May. While it’s early, the program is well on its way to greatly improving upon its No. 72 finish to the 2026 cycle.

After Sorgi’s addition, here is where the Badgers’ class of 2027 now ranks nationally.
