OSHKOSH – Peach season is here again.
Wisconsin fruit lovers are in for another treat this summer, with Tree-Ripe Fruit Co.’s Peach Stop Truck Events scheduled to make a series of stops across Oshkosh and the surrounding areas between June and August.
Beginning June 15 and 16 at St. Vincent de Paul Society, Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. trucks will be delivering “tree-ripened” Georgia peaches, pecans and pistachios to parking lots, markets and community stops.
“A perfectly ripe Georgia peach is one of those simple, only-in-summer joys, and this year we are excited to bring that experience back to our peach loyalists with the same 25-pound boxes people love and at the same price point as last year,” said Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. owner Tiernan Paine. “There’s a reason people plan their summers around our Georgia peach season.”
A Tree-Ripe truck will be at St. Vincent de Paul Society on Jackson Street from noon to 1:30 p.m. June 15-16 before returning to Menards on Westowne Avenue from 3 to 4:30 p.m. June 26, July 24 and Aug. 3.
Additional stops are scheduled in Fond du Lac (June 15, July 6, Aug. 3), Neenah (June 15, July 6), Menasha (June 16, July 7), Ripon (June 26, July 24), Sheboygan (July 2, July 30) and Manitowoc (July 2, July 30).
What are Tree-Ripe Fruit Co.’s Peach Stop Truck Events?
In partnership with Pearson Farm, Tree-Ripe picks peaches and delivers them across the Midwest to customers within 48 hours.
Customers can purchase peaches by the 25-pound half-bushel boxes while Michigan blueberries are expected to arrive around July 4.
Would-be consumers can also order online or sign up for Tree-Ripe’s Farm Share subscription boxes to have fruit delivered to their door.
A new 25-pound Peach Challenge this year offers participants a chance to win weekly $50 gift cards by tagging @treeripefruit in Facebook or Instagram photos and videos showing how they used their peaches.
Grand prizes will be awarded the week of Aug. 2.
