Where can I watch Fourth of July fireworks, parades & more in the Marshfield area?

Looking for fireworks shows, parades and other celebrations in the area to celebrate Independence Day?

A variety of municipalities and organizations will be hosting fireworks shows throughout the weekend to celebrate the Fourth of July with many also offering live music, parades and other activities.

Check out these options in the Marshfield area.

Athens

The Athens Lions Club will host its Fourth of July Celebration July 3 and 4 in Memorial Park, 112 Mueller St. in Athens. Festivities include a beer area, live music by Hyde from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and a giant Jenga tournament July 3. Fireworks will be lit behind River Country Feed Mill at dusk July 3. Attractions also include a beer area, a beanbag tournament and a chainsaw competition July 4. The event will also feature a bouncy house, a barrel train ride and face painting.

Loyal

Loyal will host a fireworks show at dusk July 3 at West Side Park in Loyal.

Marshfield

Marshfield will host its annual Festival Foods Fireworks Show by Ace Pyro LLC, with celebrations starting at 4 p.m. July 4 at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, 513 E. 17th St. in Marshfield. Festivities include family fun activities during the day, and fireworks will start at 10 p.m.

Medford

The American Legion Post 147 will host Boomfest July 3 and 4 at the Medford City Park. Festivities include live music, games, children’s activities, swimming, food and refreshments. A fireworks show will start at dusk July 4.

Neillsville

Neillsville will host fireworks at dusk, or about 9:30 p.m. July 4 at the Clark County Fairgrounds, 1121 E. Division St., over the Highground Plaza in Neillsville.

Pittsville

Between the Heart and Sole Race and the 63rd annual Legion-Lions Fourth of July Celebration, festivities including a carnival, live music, a parade and fireworks will run July 3 and 4, at Riverside Park. The Pittsville Heart and Sole Run/Walk will start at 7 p.m. July 3, with the children’s race starting at 6:15 p.m. at Riverside Park. The Fourth of July Celebration will also kick off July 3 with a carnival, and Rising Phoenix will perform from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Riverside Park. Celebrations will continue with a parade beginning at noon July 4, with a Fifth Quarter performance after the parade at Riverside Park. Tuck Pence will perform from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Mike Nanstad will perform from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 4. Fireworks will start at dusk July 4 at Riverside Park.
