The second-ranked Wisconsin men’s hockey team looks to extend a three-game winning streak when it takes on Notre Dame on Friday, Dec. 5 in South Bend, Indiana.
The Badgers (10-2-2 overall, 6-2-0 in the Big Ten) had last weekend off but the previous weekend swept No. 1 Michigan State on the road, 5-4 and 2-1 in overtime.
Wisconsin is in second place in the Big Ten, behind current No. 1 Michigan. The Badgers have been spurred by their power play, which at 32.2% is the nation’s best.
Christian Fitzgerald leads UW with nine goals and he’s tied with Ben Dexheimer for the team lead in points with 12.
Notre Dame is 4-9-1 overall and 0-6-0 in the Big Ten.
