After flooding on April 15 following heavy storms in Milwaukee County, the City of West Allis said first responders and public works crews are continuing to address issues across the community.
“Crews have been actively responding to calls, clearing debris, and monitoring storm drains to improve water flow,” the city said in a statement.

The city said water remains in some areas, but roadways are passable.
Officials said they will continue monitoring conditions and provide updates as needed.
Residents affected by flooding are encouraged to complete the 2026 Flood Relief Assistance Request Form. The form helps the city assess community needs, including flood damage assessment, cleaning supplies and structural concerns.
Residents without access to a computer, smartphone or internet can call the West Allis Fire Department’s Division of Community Risk Reduction at 414-302-8901 for assistance completing the form.
People experiencing sewer backups should contact the city at 414-302-8800 during business hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, or 414-302-8000 for the after-hours nonemergency police line.
