MADISON – Weekend travel will be a part of life for the Wisconsin volleyball team during Big Ten play this season.
According to the conference schedule released May 28, the Badgers will be on the road for five of the eight weekends of the conference regular season.
Fans hoping to catch the team at the UW Field House on a Saturday or Sunday will have two opportunities: Michigan on Sunday, Oct. 25 and Penn State on Sunday, Nov. 8.
Six matches are slated for weeknights, including the conference opener against Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 24. Maryland (Oct. 16) and Washington (Oct. 23) will be Friday matches.
Conference play has been trimmed from 20 matches to 17 in order to make room for the addition of the conference tournament. Teams face each league opponent once. UW has eight home matches this season and will have nine in 2027.
The announcement of the Big Ten schedule completes UW’s 2026 slate. Here is how it looks.
