TWO RIVERS – A car crash into a house Wednesday night resulted in a passenger suffering life-threatening injuries and the arrest of the driver.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the 2700 block of River Lane.
Two Rivers Police Department said in a news release that the vehicle, driven by a 23-year-old man, failed to negotiate a T intersection at Washington and 27th, drove over the curb and struck the house.
A 32-year-old man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver was treated at the hospital and later booked into Manitowoc County Jail on suspicion of second-offense operating while intoxicated causing injury, reckless driving causing great bodily harm and misdemeanor bail jumping.
Police did not release the names of those involved in the crash or any further details as the investigation is ongoing.
