Tell us the Bob Uecker memory that still gives you goosebumps

As the Milwaukee Brewers prepare to honor Bob Uecker in the upcoming weekend series, including a ceremony remembering the iconic broadcaster Aug. 24, it gives Brewers fans a chance to reflect on the great moments Uecker gave us during his 54 years on the microphone.

What radio highlight or other Uecker highlight personally speaks to you? Perhaps it’s an obvious one, like the CC Sabathia/Ryan Braun finale of 2008, Nyjer Morgan’s game-winner in 2011 or Robin Yount’s 3,000th hit in 1992. Perhaps it’s smaller, something like a walk-off homer by backup catcher Eddie Pérez in 2003 (“It hit the pole! It hit the pole!”)

Perhaps it’s a story or a subtle moment that typifies what Uecker meant to the organization.

We’ll recount some of our reader submissions over the weekend.
