Milwaukee police are investigating an Aug. 12 shooting that injured a teenager, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened around 12:50 p.m. on the 2500 block of West Hope Avenue. The 15-year-old was shot and transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation by the police department.
