The storefront has some costume posters and signage on windows, but there is no temporary company sign yet. Spirit Halloween sought a temporary sign at the Aug. 7 Joint Planning Commission and Village Board meeting in Kohler, but it wasn’t granted.

Members voted to grant the signage on conditions property management address persisting issues, like adding more stop signs.

Spirit Halloween has since applied for a permit and signage was approved, according to the village clerk’s office.

The company couldn’t immediately be reached to learn when the sign would be up.
