The Green Bay Packers are losing safety and special teamer Zayne Anderson to the Miami Dolphins, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Anderson, 29, played the last three seasons in Green Bay, appearing in 40 games. He made two starts at safety during the 2024 season and played 590 total snaps on special teams between the 2023 and 2025 seasons.

Anderson ended the 2025 season on injured reserve after injuring his ankle in Week 17.
According to PFF, Anderson made 23 special teams tackles while with the Packers. He also recovered two fumbles in 2025, and he registered his first and only interception during a game against the New Orleans Saints in 2024.
Anderson was a restricted free agent for the Packers, and the team declined to offer him a restricted tender. Free to sign anywhere at the start of the new league year, Anderson picked a chance to join former Packers Jeff Hafley and Jon-Eric Sullivan in Miami.
The Packers will move forward with Xavier McKinney, Evan Williams, Javon Bullard and Kitan Oladapo as the top four safeties on the roster.
Anderson joins Malik Willis as the first two Packers free agents to leave Green Bay for Miami this offseason.
